Family is the way to go

 This is absolutely true in the case of Marshalls, the renowned brand of wallpapers in India with 250+ employees, 11 showrooms, 300+ dealers spread across the country. Baldev Sharma, the founder and CMD of Marshalls is a visionary who realized the potential and the latent market for wallpapers. Yet it is the combined efforts of his entire family that is responsible for the repute and popularity that Marshalls enjoys in the present day. Each aspect of this constantly growing company is handled by a family member. Mona Menon, Baldev’s daughter look after the Marketing, Sales and Advertising while her husband, Pratap Menon handles the Dealer Distribution Network. Karan Sharma, Baldev’s son looks after Manufacturing, Imports, Admin and Accounts while his better half Aarti is responsible for HR at Marshalls. Baldev’s spouse handles Labour, a tricky area. Thus, it’s truly a family endeavour.

 “Find a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.”

 This is the maxim followed by the Marshalls family. The love and passion that they have for their work and their business transforms into quality products and services.

Thus, the fact that Marshalls is a family business has played a great role in their success and proved a great benefit to their customers. Each of them strive their best for their business which in turn ensures that the customers get full value for their time and money.

 This is a truth that India fully understands and appreciates. Indians have always valued family and familial ties. Nowadays, the world has woken to this concept and its advantages.
